Matt is just one of many amazing volunteers at Smokestack Theatre Company. He is always willing to volunteer for every show, event, and class our organization provides the community. Often, volunteering may mean losing hours at one of his paid jobs, but if he says he will help, he is there. Matt has brought together multiple Smokestack Improv shows throughout the year, but where he really shines is in classes and workshops. Matt has lead exciting theatre and improv classes throughout our region including: The Danville Family YMCA, Coates Recreation, Youth Border Forward, Pittsylvania County Public Libraries, and many more. We have heard on many occasions from both youth and adults, "Matt was the best part." We are grateful for Matt's commitment to bringing theatre to the Dan River Region and want to thank him for all he continues to do for Smokestack Theatre Company and our community.
