The Nonprofit Network is excited to launch a satellite nonprofit center in Martinsville and Henry County—an initiative made possible through our partnership with the Harvest Foundation and other regional leaders like you. This center will serve as a hub for connection, learning, and growth for local nonprofits.
In early 2024, we joined forces with the Harvest Foundation and the Community Spaces Network to hear directly from area nonprofit leaders. The results were clear:
- Nearly 60% of local organizations are looking for professional development opportunities.
- Almost 80% are seeking support for organizational growth and collaboration.
This pilot project builds on the momentum of our work in Danville, Pittsylvania, and Caswell Counties—and leverages the strong network we’ve cultivated across Virginia and beyond. We’re looking forward to creating a space that meets the real needs of local nonprofits and helps MHC thrive.
