Duke Nonprofit Management Program – 2025
The Dan River Nonprofit Network is accepting applications for this year’s Duke Nonprofit Management Program, with a maximum of 15 participants. This program is ideal for nonprofit professionals, board members, volunteers, faith-based leaders, or individuals transitioning from the private sector.
Eligibility & Commitment
- Applicants should live in and/or support nonprofit work in Danville City, Pittsylvania County, or Caswell County.
- Must commit to attending all eight (8) sessions.
- Applications close March 14, with notifications sent by March 18.

- April 1 (In-Person): Nonprofit Board Development & Governance, Part I
- April 8 (In-Person): Community Engagement & Collaboration
- April 15 (Virtual): Board Development & Governance, Part II
- April 22 (In-Person): Nonprofit Planning & Evaluation
- April 29 (In-Person): Financial Management, Part I
- May 6 (In-Person): Financial Management, Part II
- May 13 (Virtual): Succession Planning & Compliance Check-in
- May 20 (In-Person): Human Resource Development
☕ Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided for in-person sessions.
Cost & Financial Assistance
- $150 for Dan River Nonprofit Network members | $300 for non-members (regular cost: $2,250, offset by grant funding).
