Year of Service – AmeriCorps VISTA

Since last June, three AmeriCorps VISTA members have served our communities through partnership with three local nonprofit host sites: The Health Collaborative, God’s Storehouse, and the Dan River Nonprofit Network. Join us for a end-of-service-year celebration and reflection on Wednesday, May 29th from 9AM-10AM to hear from Rachel Silber, Robert Maher, and Kellie Smoak Wyatt about the meaningful work they have done during the last twelve months and future plans for the initiatives. They have each focused their efforts to build the organizational, administrative, and financial capacity of the organizations they serve including work with local foods, a community urban farm, and nonprofit educational resources.
