Join us for our end of year celebration event of all the great work our local nonprofits and volunteers accomplish! This year’s event will be hosted by Ballad Brewing in the heart of the River District on the evening of December 17th, 2018.
The Volunteer of the Year program starts by having a period of time for community nominations of individuals they believe embody the spirit of volunteerism and who give back to their community through their time and efforts. After the nomination period concludes, there is a community wide vote and a committee selection process to determine the Volunteer of the Year award recipient winners. The selected volunteers will then have a gift package donated in their name to the local nonprofit of their choice. In order to emphasize the gift all volunteers give, the event is also a recognition ceremony for all nominees, and a time to recognize the nonprofit organizations themselves for the impact they have on our region.
