Board members interact with a nonprofit primarily via a board meeting. Discover new perspectives and innovative ideas on how these meetings can better engage your board members, and yes, actually be fun as well as impactful. We’ll cover:

— Designing and running effective meetings
— 10 ideas that each take 10 minutes to change your board meetings
— Overcoming cultural and behavioral barriers
— Useful tools: such as board action calendar, consent agendas, committee reports
— How a formal board orientation leads to better meetings

This is event is a $10 investment for members of the Dan River Nonprofit Network (check our Member Directory) and a $15 investment for non-members. If you would like to join the Network for this year to get this rate and future discounts, click here. (Organizational membership ranges from $35 – $200).
