SUMMARY:Fundraising Boot Camp
DESCRIPTION:During this day-and-a-half workshop for staff and board members we will focus on the critical role of the development function in every nonprofit organization. Understand and apply the steps to create a successful fundraising program for your organization and leave with a toolkit of worksheets and action steps to put into practice now! On July 19th\, from 9AM – 4PM\, and on July 20th\, from 9AM – noon\, we’ll cover: \nFundraising principles and the nonprofit world\nThe major gift fundraising cycle\nProspect identification and cultivation\nSolicitation\nStewardship\nFundraising sources (individuals\, corporations\, events\, foundations\, etc.)\nFundraising campaigns and types of giving\nProcesses\, plans and policies (direct mail\, telephone\, online\, etc.)\nFundraising team structure and roles\n…and more! \nContinuing Education – Certified Fund Raising Executive: Full participation in “Fundraising Boot Camp” is approved for 9 points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or re-certification.
