SUMMARY:Mindful Leadership: A Critical Tool for Transformational Impact
DESCRIPTION:Transformational impact requires leadership. And true leadership requires us to simultaneously address both long-term strategic priorities and short-term fires. Mindfulness gives us the tools to skillfully respond in any moment – instead of reacting on autopilot! Facilitated by Robyn Fehrman\, back by overwhelming request after her October “Resisting Burnout” session.\n\n\nIn this 4-hour afternoon session\, we will:\nIncrease knowledge of introductory principles of mindfulness\nDefine mindful leadership & the 4Cs: calm\, compassion\, clarity\, choice in the service others\nLearn specific techniques for cultivating the 4Cs and integrating them into work and life \nThis workshop is now full – thank you to all those who have registered!

Mindfulness can help! As a set of strategies for increasing focus\, resilience\, and joy\, mindfulness helps us notice what’s happening at home\, at work\, and on the inside – and then create the mental and emotional space to respond\, instead of simply reacting.\n\n\n\nIn this 90-minute session\, we will:\n\n\n\nDiscuss the connections between stress and burnout\nRecognize the signs of burnout\nBuild concrete skills\, including contemplative practices\, to prevent burnout\nCreate an action plan for integrating resilience practices into daily work life
