DESCRIPTION:Join us on a tour of the Urban Farm at God’s Storehouse to learn about their mission of increasing healthy food in our region\, see what’s planted and what we have planned for the future. You will also hear about the upcoming educational workshops and workdays\, and how the Urban Farm has engaged in the community over the past year. This will be one of the last events with Morgan as her AmeriCorps service ends in May\, so help send her off by seeing all that’s changed since last May! The Urban Farm is located at 760 Memorial Drive with ample parking at the farm or at God’s Storehouse.

The Urban Farm has three goals in this endeavor\, the first being to educate people of all backgrounds on what healthy food looks like. The second is to add healthier food to God’s Storehouse’s distribution and the third goal is to provide a blue print and support for other similar projects in the future.
